Emily was born and raised in the US to American and Cuban parents. She graduated in 2002 from Cornell University with a major in Design and Development and minor in Marketing. She has been working in interior design, event design, branding and graphic design since 2000, and has been an entrepreneur for more than 15 years.
In 2014 she moved to Quito, Ecuador with her family to build a non-religious ministry to support, educate and empower the female community in Ecuador. She led a women's ministry there for 2 years before she had to move to the coast for health reasons. She and her family now manage a bed and breakfast near Salinas, which they are in the process of converting into a small conference-retreat center to support the local community and American professionals and travelers.

Mother to 4 bilingual and adventurous kids, she prides herself in living the entrepreneurial, freelance life as working from home has been a huge blessing for as she has raised her family. She works hard to make that same life possible for her freelance team. Just as she guides them to design their lives with purpose, she also guides her clients to do the same thing. It is her hope that no one she has the privilege of working with "go to the grave with the song still in them".... that she can help those who are unsure - discover their song, live it and share it with the world!

Branding agency work can be done virtually from anywhere. When our founder moved from the States to Ecuador 7 years ago, she just picked up her clients and took them with her. These are clients who are still with her now for 10 years. In these modern times of managing an entire company and a whole team of people virtually, the question isn't if you can, it is how you can do it intelligently. Many outsource work to talent in Asia, but Emily not only speaks the Spanish language and has a heart for supporting people in the Latin American community, but she also recognizes the enormous conveniences of working with talent in the same North American time zones for a fraction of the cost of hiring American freelancers. By building a network of freelancers across South America (in Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina and Chile) she furthered her cause to support the developing Latin American community, and she simultaneously created a win-win for her freelancers and her clients.
