I'm Emily. I was born and raised in the US to American and Cuban parents.
I graduated in 2002 from Cornell University with a major in Design and Development and minor in Marketing. I have been working in interior design, event design, branding and graphic design since 2000.
I have been an entrepreneur for more than 15 years.
In 2014, I moved to "Quito, Ecuador" with my family to build a non-religious ministry to support, educate and empower the female community. I led a women's ministry there for 2 years before she had to move to the coast for health reasons. My family and I now manage a bed and breakfast near Salinas, which we are in the process of converting into a small conference-retreat center to support the local community and American professionals and travelers.
I'm a mother to 4 bilingual and adventurous kids, I pride myself in living the entrepreneurial, freelance life as working from home has been a huge blessing for me as raised my family. I work hard to make that same life possible for my freelance team. Just as I guide them to design their lives with purpose, I also guide my clients to do the same thing. It is my hope that no one I have the privilege of working with "go to the grave with the song still in them".... that I can help those who are unsure - discover their song, live it and share it with the world!
